Its 840-hectare surface extends over seven communes: Fronsac, Saint-Aignan, La Rivière, Saint-Michel de Fronsac, Saint-Germain-la-Rivière, Saillans and Galgon. The minimum plantation density is 5,000 vines per hectare. Fronsac appellation counts 106 winemakers. The average acreage of the vineyards is 7.92 hectares and the average annual production reaches 5,000,000 bottles, that is, 420,000 crates. Each cru reflects its owner’s passion for both his vineyard and wine.
