Overview
Situated at the peak of Saillans, Château Puy Guilhem overlooks the entire L’Isle with a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Fronsac, Pomerol and Saint-Émilion vineyards. Château Puy Guilhem is a 14.5 hectares empire style property surrounded by vines planted on claylimestone plateau and hillside bathing ideally in the sun. Its exceptional terroir also benefited the vineyard with conditions to cultivate quality grapes. You can even find Malbec vines that are already over 80 years old here, which is very rare and precious!
Constant improvement in winemaking techniques and philosophy are also practiced to enhance the taste of the wines, making it fuller and more mellow.
