Overview
Located on the crest of a hill, where you can admire as far as the eye can see the Libourne’s plain, Château Plaint-Point (‘Plein-Poing’, means the summit in old french) enjoys a splendid setting and the best terroir of the historic appellation, Fronsac.
The first traces of vines would go back to 1480 where Château Plaint-Point was already one of the most famous vineyards of France. Thanks to its terroir of exceptional quality, the wines of Château Plain-Point have long reigned on the most prestigious tables in France, such as the well-known restaurant Le Fouquet’s in Paris or the residence of the President of the Republic at the Palais de l’Elysee!
Today, Château Plain-Point continues to honor its reputation. The team practices meticulous and constant care in both the vines and the winery in order to respect the natural biological balance and to raise the quality of wines to excellence.
