Established in 1969, the Confrerie is an association of up to thirty winemakers from Fronsac and Canon Fronsac. It is the guardian of Fronsac’s traditions and the ambassador for our wines in France, Europe and around the world.

The members are chosen by their peers. Sumptuously attired in red cloaks lined with blue, they wear the Brotherhood’s medal depicting Marshal Richelieu, Duke of Fronsac. They meet periodically to honour invited personalities and wine lovers, and parade on the occasion of their annual chapter.
