Chateau Couraze

Overview

The family Heinze from Denmark bought Chateau Couraze in 1999 in order to live its passion with winemaking. The vineyard covers 2,80 hectares in appellation Fronsac in the village of Saillans close to Lalande de Pomerol or Saint Emilion. Benoit Trocard has been running the estate since 1999.

Wine making :
The wine is traditionally fermented in concrete vats. Then the wine is aged in oak barrels during 12-15 months.
