Château Renard

Overview

Amédée Chassagnoux, Xavier’s grandfather, current owner of Château Renard Mondesir, could very well have been a winegrower in Fronsac from beginning of the 1950s, so much he loved the products of this region. For almost half a century, he has devoted himself to promoting their flavors by marketing them “in the North” and in Belgium.

It was not until 1978 that the Chassagnoux set foot in La Rivière by exploiting the previously unknown Château Renard Mondesir.

2020, the year of transmission between Xavier and Laurence his daughter, the year of creation of a new range of originals wines. Already HVE 3 certified, this is also the year of environmental reorganization with the conversion to organic farming
